------------------------------------- This year we have introduced two new sections to
our show schedules
In the spring show we have a section for children at local schools to enter
a pot of daffodils they have grown. The bulbs and compost were donated by
Burston Garden Centre and the pots supplied by the society
The second new section is a bucket of potatoes grown from
one tuber, the bucket, tuber and a copy of the rules are availble at the depot
from 14th February for £2.00
The winner is the bucket with the heavest weight of potatoes. the buckets
and contents are to be taken to the depot on the Friday evening befor the
autumn show for weighing.
The winner will be announced at the show
