Spring Show 2008

The spring show of this society was a great success, despite the recent bad weather. It was held on 29th March, in the Henderson Hall. It was a colourful show with yellow daffodils, pink hellebores, mixed flower vases, pansies and heathers. Also many coloured flowering shrubs, houseplants and vegetables. In the household section we had pies, Simnel cakes, lemon curd and chutney. The handicraft section had home made toys and a bird box. There was a large photography display. Including two by junior members.
